Micro site " Point de vue sur la nuit "

You are all invited to the micro site " Point de vue sur la nuit "

Friday, September 1, 2023 20:00-23:00.

Grounds for paddle tennis
Avenue de la Jonction
1205 Genève

This event is part of the development process of the park at Pointe de la Jonction and launches the series of public micro-building sites.
The goal of the micro-building sites is to create a social environment where users of the Pointe de la Jonction site, professionals and planners can meet for a few hours to test specific uses of the emerging park. These micro-building site meetings are mandated by the City of Geneva and organized by the team of planners (uniola, Berthet & Post).

For this first public micro-building site, the planning team has invited the artist Jean-Daniel Berclaz, who will propose on this occasion his 95th vernissage of a point de vue of his artistic approach, entitled Musée du Point de Vue.

The event "Point de vue sur la nuit" will be an opportunity to experiment with the night use of the site without music. Participants will be invited to take part in a discussion about the human and non-human use of the park at night. By inviting users to a nighttime banquet, the following goals will be achieved various aspects of the site, such as lighting and space for wildlife. These issues will be addressed collaboratively, poetically and scientifically.

Next dates of the micro construction sites:
- Friday, September 22, 2023: Harvest of La Jonction gardens and community canteen, time to be determined.

- Thursday, October 19 to Sunday, October 22, 2023: "Bains-Publics", use at any time of year. Late afternoon, early evening.
For this micro-building site, the planning team resorts to the collective Dakota, which takes water and wellness as a leitmotif. An urban and temporary thalassotherapy area is set up to test an autumnal use of the Pointe de la Jonction.
