The Auhof outdoor pool in Zurich-Schwamendingen was built in 1958 according to the plans of Ernst Gisel and Ernst Baumann. Both the buildings and the open spaces are listed in the municipal inventories of monuments and garden monuments and, together with the Auhof school complex, which was also built at the same time according to the plans of Ernst Gisel, form an ensemble of high design quality and architectural and socio-historical significance. The outdoor pool is to be renovated. As part of the renovation, an extension of the sunbathing lawn and the non-swimmers' pool is also planned.
