Every year, all members of the Berlin Chamber of Architects and the Brandenburg Chamber of Architects are invited to help shape this public showcase of Berlin's building culture and submit a completed project. An annually changing and independent selection committee chooses the projects from all submitted works, which are presented to the public in March/April as part of the exhibition "da! Architecture in and from Berlin" exhibition to the public and the media.
