The former commercial area to the west of the Munich - Ingolstadt railway line, close to the Allach and Untermenzing S-Bahn stations, is being restructured into a mixed-use residential neighbourhood. On the circa 12-hectare site, approximately 5.7 hectares of green spaces with a landscape park and a city garden with a neighbourhood square are to be created from 2024. They will form the framework for 1,300 new flats for different income groups, jobs, a primary school and several day-care centres.
