New perspectives for Zurich!
In a team with Van de Wetering, Basler & Hofmann and Albprojekte we developed new perspectives for the urban spaces around the main station/Central in Zurich. Challenging and also visionary, but quite realistic, a lot of attractive space around the most frequented place in Switzerland with almost 1 million pedestrians daily and about 400 streetcars every hour is freed up. Nevertheless, access and delivery remain guaranteed. There will be space for more than 150 additional trees, access to the Limmat and Sihl rivers, unsealed, green and climate-sensitive open spaces, safe bicycle routes and attractive places to stay.

The pavement pattern invites playing and makes it into something special.

Bundesplatz Zug
Between the lake and the train station, in front of the co-op renovated by Burkhardt und Partner Architekten, more space is given to the magnificent plane trees with a round bench. It provides generous space for sitting – next to, opposite and with one another, one time inward toward the gravel surface, one time facing the square – always with opportunities to relax.
Energiezentrale Bern Forsthaus
The new, 300-meter-long energy center is anchored like a cargo ship in the Bremgarterwald (Bremgarten Forest) before the gates of Bern. Flower Garden in Parc Beaulieu Geneva
Following the creation of the park maintenance program in 2013, the city of Geneva executed the design elements defined in the ideal plan in stages. It has now arranged a flower garden, which opened at the beginning of the summer, in front of the manor house, to the delight of park visitors. The perennials that have been planted bloom throughout the seasons of the year.

All the works from the second stage of the competition were discussed with citizens in a moderated dialogue on November 25, 2016.
Rhine River Promenade Basel
After nine years of planning and construction, the Rhine River Promenade is now in its first summer! The fall no longer invites spending time on the terrace, but from inside the herbs and the trimmed hedges of the completed garden are also enchanting in hoarfrost and under snow.
Municipal Library Heidenheim
Max Dudler is building the library for the city of Heidenheim. Closely connected with the neighboring city space, we are developing a high-quality outdoor area for the library with stairs, ramps, low walls for sitting, roofed-over bicycle stations, and plant beds. The library in Heidenheim is a new urban sculptural component with an island-like character. The square and street space flow around it with a light-colored surface. Planted areas take up the picture of the building as a “street silhouette” and structure the elongated square by means of offsets.

The extensive plantings of perennials and grasses at the residential development has been completed. The plantings contribute to the residents’ privacy. The view of nearby Lake Zurich is nevertheless preserved.

After four years of planning, the grounds of the two residential buildings by Gigon / Guyer Architekten and the artist duo Lutz Guggisberg have been completed. The main attraction is the courtyard with ten old pines in a modulated landscape. It is framed by hedges of trees with large oaks. The children living in the 138 apartments immediately discovered their park for playing!

We have now been given the opportunity to rehabilitate the Ost-Allee, the Kanzel (elevated lookout point) , and the water basin with a reinterpreted waterfall.
Villes et Champs Genève
At the edge of the city, a path leads to a sitting area. What seems to be unspoiled nature was once an overgrown waste disposal site. With only a few interventions, it is now a garden. A book box holds garden books as inspiration for reflecting on “nature.” “Si vous possédez une bibliothèque et un jardin, vous avez tout ce qu’il vous faut .” Cicero, Epistulae ad familiares IX, 4, à Varro (rédigées entre 63 et 43 av.
